The city of Lansing seeks nominations to recognize a local volunteer who demonstrates a commitment to volunteerism and who is actively engaged in serving the community. The volunteer must be a resident of Lansing and/or live within the USD 469 school district boundaries. A selection committee will choose the winner to be recognized at a future City Council meeting.

Due to the public health crisis, this year’s Volunteer Banquet will not take place. The Volunteer of the Year will be notified by the selection committee of their honor.
