Library Giving Day

Library Giving Day

National Library Giving Day on April 7, 2021 is a quick and easy way to support the Lansing Community Library. We will use National Library Giving Day donations to help fund the new program, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. Each eligible child receives a new book in the mail every month until they turn five. There are no fees, the books are delivered directly to the child's home, and the child gets to keep them forever. The Imagination Library is free to families. A donation of just $25 will fund a year of new books for one child. Click here to make a difference!

Donations for National Library Giving Day go through the Northeast Kansas Library System Foundation. They will provide receipts for tax purposes. The site is secure, and you can choose any amount you wish. The impact of your generosity can be multiplied if your company has a matching program. You can set up a planned gift to provide regular donations.
