JUNE 28, 2025 - LANSING’S INDEPENDENCE HOLIDAY EVENT

Join us on Sat., June 28 at Lansing High School, 1412 147th St. for food, fireworks and fun! General admission is free; the event starts at 3 p.m. and will feature rides and inflatables for the kids, live entertainment, a variety of food and beverages followed by a spectacular fireworks display beginning at approximately 9:30 p.m.

Taking the stage at 3:30 p.m. are Lansing’s own DJs Nick & Tammy Dominguez.  Our headliner for the show is the talented band One Night Stand, who will perform a selection of your favorite classics and today’s popular music beginning at 6:30 p.m. Bring your own lawn chairs! The celebration offers a variety of food and beverages including shaved ice, lemonade, BBQ, crepes, pizza, hot dogs, Mexican, pork tenderloin sandwiches, cotton candy, ice cream and Dolewhip desserts.

There will be limited parking at the High School. Attendees should use the free shuttle service provided. Details are coming soon on park and ride locations.

Victory Pyrotechnics & Special Events is back with a custom designed fireworks display. The show will feature music, lights and an impressive display of dazzling fireworks.
