UPDATE 7/23: IDA STREET IN LANSING CLOSURE DUE TO SANITARY SEWER WORK FOR THREE MORE WEEKS
Weather permitting, Ida St. in Lansing will be closed to all traffic at the intersection with Gamble St. for a sanitary sewer upgrade project for the next three weeks. Detour signs have been posted to advise motorists traveling in the area to find alternate routes.
Contractors say the work is projected to be completed in the next three weeks if weather cooperates. Crews will be replacing 50-year-old sewer infrastructure with new, larger pipes and manholes.
