Proper Swim Attire
Proper Swimwear is Required
To maintain safety, hygiene, and a chemically balanced pool environment, all patrons must adhere to the following swimwear requirements:
General Requirements
- Swimwear Material: All attire worn in the pool must be made from materials specifically designed for swimming (e.g., nylon, spandex).
- Appropriate Fit: Swimwear must securely cover all private areas and be non-translucent when wet.
- Swim Diapers: Non-toilet-trained individuals must wear swim diapers at all times.
Allowed Swimwear
Traditional swimsuits, including:
- One-piece swimsuits
- Two-piece swimsuits (e.g., bikinis, tankinis)
- Swim trunks or swim shorts without exposed zippers, belts, buckles, or rivets
- Rash guards and swim shirts specifically designed for aquatic use
Prohibited Swimwear
Street clothing, including:
- Jeans (including cut-offs), skirts, and shorts not designed for swimming
- Compression shorts, leggings, or sports bras
- Dri-fit or athletic wear not made for swimming
- Swimwear with exposed zippers, belts, buckles, rivets, or other hardware
- Undergarments, such as bras, underwear, or leotards
- Swimwear deemed inappropriate, including thong-style, Brazil/French-cut, or translucent swimsuits
Accessories and Other Items
Permitted:
- Swim caps
- Goggles (except when using slides or diving boards)
Prohibited:
- Jewelry and loose accessories when using slides or diving boards
- Snorkels and fins
Enforcement – Lifeguards and staff have the authority to enforce these rules. Patrons who fail to comply may be asked to leave the facility. For questions about swimwear, please consult the Aquatic Manager.
